It's as if the man who wants to be mayor of NYC has never been to the MOST ethnically, culturally, or religiously diverse city in the world.
So here's Andrew Cuomo reacting to Maria Bartiromo wondering if Mamdani will "change the look of New York" and have Muslim women "completely covered up," telling her that Mamdani "doesn't understand New York culture" because he has "dual citizenship" and "he's a citizen of Uganda."

What's crazy is that MAGA is more than willing to lay these accusations on liberals and nobody in the Dem party stands up to them in a meaningful way.
So much of the crisis is the fact that liberals are unwilling to describe what's happening, because they're scared to say that their opponents are lying, are operating in bad faith, want evil or harmful policy, and don't share our basic goals about what society should look like
