Deadly UK border policies have taken four lives this weekend - including a child.

These are entirely avoidable deaths. Safe routes must exist so people seeking safety no longer have to risk their lives.

Do you think this will stop here and roll back, now that these people have been shown they can demand and get this level of permission to run riot from government, police and press? Or do you think they will take this as the bare minimum, and push for more and worse.

I regret to inform you that Starmer’s been tweeting dehumanising videos of migrants again.

These videos have been shown to increase support for Reform, by increasing salience of migration.

He has to go.

This is the scarcely believable testimony of Gaza journalist, Motasem A Dalloul.

The tiny amounts of aid getting in to Gaza is used as bait in a Squid Game-style nightmare.

Except this is real. Families forced to choose between dying of starvation or dying trying to get food.

The end of days.

Just an agonising few kilometres away from the starving, thousands of tons of food aid lies wasting in the sun as the Israeli blockade continues.

Gaza is now being systematically starved. The war crime of the 21st century.

REST OF THE WORLD UPDATE: Still watching.

I see the Royal Festival Hall is asking trans people and those with disabilities to share the same toilets. This is both unfair on people with disabilities and breaches the Human Rights Convention by treating trans people as a third sex.

I hope everyone ignores their stupid signage.

Moving piece about PIP cuts, and more generally the awfulness of PIP assessments, by Elsa Williams, an autistic writer who co-writes the (very funny) site The Daily Tism.
Deep breath, lads.

In response to the proposed government disability cuts, I wrote a piece about my life before The Daily Tism (it includes a PIP assessment, a mental health crisis and iced Madeira cake). We’ll fight this with everything we’ve got.

How do you explain a PIP assessment to somebody who’s never had one?
