Lots of people today, when talking about the BBC, taking pot shots at trans people including purposely misunderstanding this term
When we say PREGNANT PEOPLE We are not saying women do not get pregnant. We are saying TRANS & NON-BINARY PEOPLE EXIST Trans Men & Non-Binary people, as well as women, can get pregnant. You can have your own opinion on this but not your own facts. These are the facts!

Certain cross-community & minority protections were understandable in 1998, but for votes like this now it just stunts democracy

IVF healthcare is so behind in NI. Time to address it.
This week is NATIONAL FERTILITY AWARENESS WEEK Here in NI we need a complete overhaul to IVF healthcare including: • Comprehensive and individualised IVF treatment • Parity with the rest of the UK: access to a greater number of fresh IVF cycles & frozen transfers, removing retrospective cut-off dates • Access to egg freezing for non-cancer patients • Address lengthy wait times • Increased accessibility to specialists • Subsidised medication costs: just like in the rest of Ireland • Reassess overly restrictive BMI requirements • Better communication on treatment limits

A 20% rise in school dinners is going to be very difficult for many families to manage. The Education Authority should not be doing this.
