Perhaps.

"the United States, which Canada relies on for 70 per cent of these inspections"

A Prime Minister who was serious about protecting and creating an independent, resilient Canada would be expanding massively our regulatory capacity, not slashing it. There's more to security than buying all the guns.
Canada relies on the United States for 70% of these inspections.

"New data obtained by CTV News from Health Canada shows that 85% of inspections of drug manufacturing sites supplying the Canadian market were conducted by international regulators — not Health Canada."
Canada’s reliance on foreign regulators to inspect drug makers is concerning, say experts

Taking the measles vaccine right to schools removes a key barrier. It also sends a strong implicit signal about the government's belief in the vaccine's safety and importance in protecting children.

Also, what is the Ford govt's plan now to get ready for next winter's measles season? It's coming.
Measles! The Ontario outbreak is now HUGE so what can we do about it? Being compassionate, recognizing many parents don't have time or resources to get kids vaccinated and bringing vaccines to schools are a good first step. Great panel with @namshine.bsky.social
