The best distraction from the Epstein emails is to stop this actual war. Too much chasing after fabricated wars.

Trump's masked thugs attacked a blind protestor in South Portland last weekend and dragged him away like an animal.

The man is 4'6" and legally blind.

A US citizen.

"They picked the weakest person they could find," he told The Oregonian/OregonLive.

Air traffic controllers are not paid during shutdowns. The last shutdown (also under Trump) ended because too many controllers called in sick. Private jets then began to suffer.
Air traffic control facilities across the United States are reportedly experiencing staff shortages amid Trump’s government shutdown.

These shortages are taking place in Nashville, Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, Washington, and more.

It was the end of a long walk and was looking forward to a quick sea dip. Did not expect to find this sign.

Well deserved. If you are more passive orientated you can watch the doco on SBS but you’d miss the humour in the book.

On a dog friendly walk today in Blackheath. Can confirm all dogs curious but very wary of spiky echidna. Good job nature.

Was it a living funeral
I will recklessly speculate the Scorsese length cabinet celebration of life was consistent with a bunch of people knowing the object of their obsequiousness is about to have a big scary surgery.

Brief 🧵, as someone who has studied mass shootings for 13 years:

-gender does not cause them
-SSRIs, no
-mental illness, no
-internet/gaming, no

Above can be compounding factors—but motive is complex, often very. The most fundamental combo:

suicidality + rage + isolation + easy access to guns

Really like this project by Ari Versluis and Ellie Uyttenbroek. Titled Exactitudes, it's a series of portraits stretching back 20 years that shows how people style themselves to signal they're part of a group and unique individuals within that group.

Highly recommend this episode of Australian story. I hope they get the money for the clinical trial.

I recall a story on ‘phages’ an Eastern European version of the same idea many years ago.
