This goes so hard @openssf.org! When I first started learning about OSS, I asked these same questions about the current ecosystem’s fairness & sustainability. But everyone’s response to it feels like “🤷🏻‍♀️”.

I cannot tell you how grim the AI in higher ed situation is. Many of the students have completely surrendered to letting AI do their homework, badly, I might add. How do you fix this? Truly, what the hell do we do, beyond what grading can address, which isn't a solution?

Today we learned Andrew Cuomo is directly coordinating with Donald Trump, even as this President sends masked agents to rip our neighbors off the streets and guts the social services so many New Yorkers rely on.

It’s disqualifying and a betrayal of our city.

Huh, so it *wasn't* about antisemitism. I'm shocked. Shocked!

The goal all along has been destroying higher education. They have said so explicitly. And we've had media outlets carry water for lies about "protecting Jewish students."

I'd just like to point out how weird it is that places with hundreds or even thousands of reporters — the NYT, WaPo, CBS, NBC, AP, etc. — are all getting pummeled on every major story by the dozen computerboys at Wired. To fumble the bag this consistently is, at some point, cowardice and a choice.

The data on this is so clear now. The only question is if our government(s) will do what is right and restrict vehicle size. It's not even a question anymore: Car bloat is killing people.
A new study of vehicular crashes in the UK shows that—after accounting for driver characteristics, road conditions, & more—adult pedestrians & cyclists had a 14% higher fatality rate when hit by an SUV rather than a regular car.

Children had a shocking 77% higher fatality rate when hit by SUVs.
