I realize posting this here is preaching to the choir. But after the Grok White Genocide thing & Ye essentially launching an exclusive Neo Nazi single on the platform... I felt motivated to write about X and how bizarre it is that so many people (news outlets, celebrities, politicians) use it
What Are People Still Doing on X?
Imagine if your favorite neighborhood bar turned into a Nazi hangout

For those interested, here's a Reddit board I set up for County #Cricket fans

For me, Reddit is now far more reliable than Google for search and far better than social media for chat and discovery

It is a curated and policed old-fashioned message board

Is it just me? After last season and watching Lancashire this match, surely there is something really wrong. At home, win the toss yet every chance of losing by an innings? And with regard to the commentary I got the idea we were at Northampton with mentions and visits.

Bottom line: Trump a week ago, Trump told America that the full tariff package was a “liberation”. Today, he largely, though not completely, reversed course. Therefore, by his own logic America is less liberated than it was. The weakest day of his presidency so far.

It's patronising for media men to suggest "people back home" will enjoy Afghan success today.

That win changes nothing for women who were studying at uni, had jobs, and ambitions and now have nothing.

Gender apartheid in Afghanistan is abhorrent. The ICC should do something!

"The ECB suits and their obsession with the terrible format that is the Hundred, to the detriment of all other domestic cricket, has ruined English cricket. Which is a particular shame as it’s not that long ago England were world champions in two formats."

I’ve just watched Australia beat India to win the series 3-1 and regain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. But cricket needs to get a grip and kick Afghanistan out of the world game. If the ICC do nothing and allow the status quo to continue, it’s a victory for the Taliban’s female subjugation!

This shouldn’t even be a debate, should it?

Yet when I wrote this piece calling for a boycott of ICC 18 months ago, it was a battle to get it published. Several prominent cricket writers publicly disagreed with my stance.

As we all ponder what an enigma Zak Crawley is and how low his average is, what about Mitch Marsh? 45 test, averaging less than 30 and let's be fair his bowling isn't burning down any houses.

Of course, it needs to change & adapt

Of course, it needs a new audience & focus

Of course, it needs more 💰

Of course, it has been resistant to change

But if only there had been honesty and discussion on the real strategy and direction of travel from the start. Then more might be onboard now
