I thought he had already retired. It's a strange case. All that talent yet when a cricket ball came whizzing in the vicinity of his head, it seemed to hit and hit hard. Sad for the guy and the game. (Even if he is an Aussie)

I don't follow the financial aspect, but I guess you are right.

In fact he appears to be playing the long game. International success will drive his price up, while tired slogs at first rate spinners will do him no good.
