This pic is a few years old, but Dick van Dyke is still out there today, completing his 100th trip around the sun (with or without the bicycle).

Happy 100 years to actor Dick Van Dyke!

Wood and copper printing plates featuring sketches of Aldbourne by Ann Sullivan, who lived in Aldbourne during the 1970s and 1980s. I'm guessing made back in the 1970s (but not 100% sure). Now I know how the postcards were made if not exactly when!

SUPERB and angrily unvarnished response, by former BBC chairman, Lord Patten.

"I don't think that we should allow ourselves to be bullied into thinking that the BBC is only any good, if it reflects the prejudice of the last person who shouted at it." ~AA

Trump's White House & fawning hacks here don't really care about the 0.001% that the BBC gets wrong. They care about all the stuff it gets right.

Archaeologists have found a 65 million year old fossil of a new kind of reptile which had a fractured tibia.
They've named the creature a Mylegisaur.

Puts a sneaky afternoon glass of port into perspective.
Ten thousand light years from earth there is massive cloud of alcohol.

To drink all of that, every person on earth would have to drink 300,000 pints each day for one billion years.
