I silly-promised work I would dress “appropriately sciencey” for today’s awards ceremony. I forgot I had bought this blouse before the pandemic, but once I found it in the closet, I knew what had to be done. #BoldlyGo

Illinois respects the sovereignty and borders of Ukraine — now and always.

Three years ago, Russia invaded Ukraine without warning or provocation. Peace and freedom requires resistance to tyranny and oppression.

Slava Ukraini!

Sometimes, you just have to walk over to your supercomputer and rip a power cord out to remind it who’s the boss.

Take that, switch x6101c0r47b0! You will forward packets, and that’s an order!

here's the schematic, it's exactly the same as the model 1's onboard design, just duplicates it for each channel instead of mixing them down to mono.

whole thing fits comfortably into a 23mm x 13mm (0.9in x 0.5in) board if you can do smt soldering.

i can't offer tech support, but have fun 💜

In 5th grade, I told a kid who insulted me to “shut your big ugly mouth!” My teacher somehow heard “… big fucking mouth!” I was immediately suspended from school for a day and banned from performing in the choral show that week.

I had an emergency appendectomy 24 years ago, after it burst suddenly one night, with no symptoms or warning signs, my Freshman year of college: and it *did* bankrupt me. It nearly prevented me from continuing through school after my Freshman year of undergrad.
I had an emergency appendectomy just three weeks ago and almost didn’t go to the ER because it could potentially bankrupt me and that’s the risk many of us weigh when we potentially need emergency care and don’t know how bad the problem is.

I kinda hate living in a time and place where I receive Black Friday Sale emails advertising deep discounts on routine and necessary basic medical testing, because a huge portion of the population may need those in order to survive.

The first known use of singular “they” is so old that not only does it pre-date singular “you,” it wasn’t even spelled with a “th”

When William and the Werewolf, in 1375 CE, used singular “they,” it was spelled with a Thorn
