It's complete! While the "Mad Dog" is definitely overkill at infantry scale, it has such a distinctive and classic look that I had to recreate it in 28mm. The Jade Falcons have arrived and they're after your donuts!

I've talked about it before but Bethesda Fallout LOVES the past and it sucks. Everything important comes from before the war and everything afterwards is forever stuck. The player character in 4 is from before the War. In the show roughly 3/4ths of the named characters are, in some way, Pre-war.
Also obligatory “Bethesda can't let go of the past in their franchise where the most flawed characters are obsessed with recreating an imagined past”

THIS EXACTLY. there is so much wasted opportunity in 4. Every faction was reminiscient of a period in american history where violent conflict reshaped the social and political landscape of the nation but did they do anything with that??? NO!!!!!!!!

learning C++ this past week and I'm increasingly worried I'll never escape the C# shill allegations

I was hoping I'd come out thinking "yeah C# is one of the best but C++ is pretty alright too!" but no instead I had to step on a staggering amount of invisible C++ object lifetime landmines

I'm not sure whether this weird musical theater thing they keep doing is meant to shame their opponents (who cannot be shamed) or assuage their constituents (in place of actual action), but someone needs to tell them it's not working

Dear writers: you dont usually need to tell us how sexually unstimulated your male character is for an underage girl running around in her birthday suit. Like if the guy is truly not a freak and is unfazed at buck ass nudity u can just leave that part out because if u keep saying it i get suspicious

Hundreds of L.A. landlords have hiked rents on desperate people fleeing the wildfires.

Landlords for at least 400 properties appear to have ignored the law and the warnings of California's Attorney General and illegally raised rents since the fires began.

Hundreds of L.A. landlords hike rents to capitalize on 'desperate' fire evacuees
Price hikes of more than 10% are illegal during a state of emergency. But that hasn't stopped landlords seeking to profit from the L.A.'s ongoing disaster.

An interesting thing in pretty much anything you could possibly study, is that over-confident dipshits never want to do or talk about the boring stuff, the basic stuff.

They always want to jump right to the cutting edge, the most abstract and sexiest stuff.
