Sen. Markwayne Mullin bought up to $50K each in Raytheon stock (RTX) & Chevron (CVX) just days before the U.S. strike on Venezuela—

Mullin sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee — I’m sure it’s just a coincidence..

What ceasefire? These horrific numbers show Israel's genocide in Gaza isn’t over, despite Donald Trump announcing phase two of his so-called ‘peace deal.’

That or they'll say he's "breaking with tradition" when it's like, in the constitution
Every time Trump breaks the clear letter of the law, the NYT and WaPo write a story about how he’s “pushing boundaries” or “testing the limits of his authority”

He's not Chuck Yeager, guys. He's a crook.

Incidentally the best explanation we've been given for why the President is so hot to annex Greenland is that it is 'psychologically necessary for success.'

Beyond the fact that this bugfuck insane letter was written and sent to the leader of Norway, the State Dept agreeing to distribute it to other heads of state instead of objecting and honorably resigning or at the very least planning some kind of coverup is a sign of deep institutional collapse.
So this is why Trump is fixated on Greenland. Vengeance strikes again. This guy is dangerous.

THE MAN THEY TOOK WRAPPED IN A BLANKET IS A U.S. CITIZEN.

This is the Kavanaugh Stop of all Kavanaugh Stops.
Sunday, at least 7 ICE agents stormed a house and took an elderly man out into the freezing cold, wearing only his underwear and a blanket.

He was a member of the Hmong community, which came to the area from Laos in the 1970s after siding with the US in the Vietnam War.

“No recalibrated or sanitized version of the assault that Trump and Stephen Miller are waging on American cities right now, most prominently Minneapolis, is available to them or anyone else. That’s because it’s a campaign of deliberate terror: The policy is the terror, and the terror is the policy.”
Trump is privately worried about the "optics" of ICE raids and his advisers are looking for ways to soften them, Axios reports. I'm calling bullshit: The terror and violence cannot be hived off from the broader policy agenda. They are 100% intrinsic to it.

Trump’s Own Advisers Suddenly Unnerved as ICE Raids Take Horrific Turn
So the president doesn’t like the “optics” of what ICE is doing. But there’s no such thing as sanitized, popular mass deportations—and this is by design.

Any time someone proposes reforming instead of abolishing ICE, it bears noting that ICE is currently violating a bunch of federal court injunctions, plus their own policies.

Giving the sadistic ethnic cleansing squad more rules to ignore is not enough

Multi-layered “look what you made me do” lie.

Because Norway didn’t give a him prize (it doesn’t decide winners) for ending wars (he didn’t end) the US won’t be peaceful anymore (bombing multiple countries) and will take Greenland (part of Denmark, not Norway) to stop Russia (it’d help Russia).

Federal officials keep telling the public to stay away from their immigration enforcement actions and also keep brutally assaulting people in broad daylight, leaving the public the only ones to hold them accountable.

The public does not trust DHS to behave civilly or legally.

Chuck Schumer is what happens when a pince-nez wishes upon a special star to be a real boy.
The incredibly lukewarm Democratic response on Greenland is being noticed in Europe, incidentally.

Chuck Schumer not finding a stronger word than “quixotic” for Trump’s plan to seize Greenland has been name checked to me more than once.
But Americans who want to save the alliance with Europe must have no illusions about how bad a condition this transatlantic partnership is in.

Two days ago it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before that, Mark Kelly. Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic.

The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.
Breaking news: The Justice Department has issued subpoenas for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey as part of an investigation alleging that they are impeding federal law enforcement officers’ abilities to do their jobs in the state.

—greatly expand voting rights restoration.

These will all go to 2026 referendums.
