Just this moment- it’s fucking gross that there are fundraising drives for hospitals ( st Jude’s ) to care for kids with cancer on TV. What country is this? How do we have to appeal to charity for taking care of KIDS WITH CANCER?

Biden pardoning Hunter is a perfect example of two things being true.
1. As a dad, I get it, and I’d be hard pressed to not do the same.
2. It shows a lack of integrity- especially after promising not to.
It also is more fodder for the right to delegitimize our legal system.

I’ve worked my entire adult life in healthcare… Am I oversimplifying if I point out that every dollar made by United healthcare (and other insurance companies) could’ve been spent on actual healthcare, if we had single payor?? (That’s over $100 billion last year- just for United)

Last Thanksgiving I invited a guy who had never met my family. We had about 20 family members and I told them all he was hard of hearing and they needed to speak very loudly and very slowly when they spoke to him. We drifted apart for some reason I don't remember why.
