OK this *is* my penance "trivia" because it was 20 years ago and I'm still laughing.
Such is dialect. I once asked a Canadian if they used "aluminium" or "aluminum" and we eventually agreed that they called it "magic wood".

Went to my first ever proper gig last night, aged 51. Was bought the ticket as a thank you. We had so much fun. It was outside, not too crowded, not too hot. The band were tight. I could feel the music. It was awesome. More live music. Just not festivals/mud/and def no camping.

Fellow scientists, help me out?

In Star Wars, there is a female 'clone' of a male human (I checked the species). I *know* it's fiction, but, surely this would not be possible?

She's also called Omega, which I find insulting. The unaltered male clone is called Alpha (Boba).

9 signs you might be autistic

1. You have a hard time finding people you connect with in a deep and meaningful way. You've struggled to make friends because of this.

2. You have a really hard time with unspoken rules or rules that don't make sense to you.

Can anyone explain to me why low air pressure makes my head feel like it is being crushed? It's counterintuitive to me, I would expect high air pressure to do that. What am I missing? Forgive me if I'm being thick, I have a migraine.
