The book I am reading has mentioned in passing that Dylan Thomas was a beer drinker in London and only really turned to whisky when he went to America, and now I can't shake the idea that terrible American beer killed Dylan Thomas.

The fact that people risk their lives to come to the UK from France says these people are strongly committed to the UK and we should fucking cherish them as opposed to people who hate the BBC and the National Trust and the RNLI and every other British institution who should fuck off to Dubai.

It got better once the creature turned up and starting killing off Victor's friends and family (which served him right for being a whiny little bitch). The line "I demand a creature of another sex, but as hideous as myself" will never not be hilarious though.

It got better once the creature turned up and starting killing off Victor's friends and family (which served him right for being a whiny little bitch). The line "I demand a creature of another sex, but as hideous as myself" will never not be hilarious though.
Having already been forced to learn who Charlie Kirk is this week, I now feel a great sense of despair that I am also going to have to learn what a Groyper is.

My guess is this reflects a general disappointment with Starmer coupled with a lack of partisan loyalty in the UK (as opposed to the very partisan US where loyalty buoys Trumps numbers), but why did Starmer get almost no honeymoon at all?
