You all still know that Exec Orders are not actually law, right? They can and should still be challenged when in tension with existing law?

Moment of clarity today in the Senate where Republicans sided with big banks & against customers. Higher fees, lower transparency.

Now it goes to the House - so call your Member of Congress to ask how they’ll vote!

Not getting much attention, but the Senate GOP is about to start voting - to make sure banks can charge higher overdraft fees. Seriously.

Good time to let your Senators know what you think of that.

The best time would have been before now, but this is now a really great time for some journalists to stop giving a shit about access and hold these assholes accountable for blatantly lying through their teeth about a national security breach.

Adding a journalist to a top secret government group chat about dropping bombs *IS* the kind of thing people who aren’t super politically literate can understand and find shocking/notable/disqualifying. Dems should seize on this and never ever let it go. I hope to hear about it in a decade

Every single Democratic lawmaker should be calling for Hegseth's immediate resignation right now. Not just some. Not just a few dozen. Every single one, starting at the top with Mr. Schumer and Mr. Jeffries. And the fact that it hasn't happened yet is nearly as shocking as Hegseth's conduct.

Aside from the obvious direct harm, what's so irritating is that a handful of spoiled ignorant assholes are breaking things that we all built together. They weren't content to own almost everything, they had to wreck what little they didn't own. It's vandalism on a mass scale and has to be punished

Republicans voted to take away your healthcare and food assistance so they can give tax breaks to the billionaires who poured millions of dollars into their election campaigns.

They don’t care about you because they’re paid to answer to them.

It’s not complicated.

BREAKING: House Republicans just passed their budget resolution 217-215 that would virtually guarantee deep cuts to Medicaid and food stamps, all to fund a major tax break for the ultrawealthy... and still add trillions to the national debt.

Attention working-class Americans:

Republicans’ new budget does NOT include no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, or no tax on Social Security.

Instead it protects tax handouts for billionaires and makes way for the largest Medicaid cut in history.

The GOP passed a budget resolution tonight that will gut Medicaid, SNAP, and other vital programs — as 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

Why? To finance more tax cuts for the top 1%.

We have socialism in this country for the rich, harsh capitalism for everyone else.

Guess who pays for tax cuts for the rich? You do.

Through cuts to Medicaid, higher health premiums, and skyrocketing housing costs, working families will foot the bill for the GOP's tax giveaways to the ultra-wealthy. accountable.us/how-will-con... @accountable-us.bsky.social

Instead, he spent 40 million on Super Bowl ads attacking USAID!
