After the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk, it was natural that his allies, including Trump, lionized him as a patriot, free-speech advocate, and activist.

Here’s the problem: Kirk built his movement with falsehoods. And his advocacy was laced with racist and bigoted statements.
No, Charlie Kirk was not practicing politics the right way
His assassination deserves full condemnation; his full impact should not be sidestepped.

The democrat party needs symbolism and spectacle to rally people.
Republicans were very quick to steal the Stars and Stripes and remake it into a symbol of hate and idiocy to gather behind.
Democrats also need to use spectacle and symbolism or the message won’t go far.

Adams must be removed. The city cannot sustain being governed for nearly a year by a Mayor who is being coerced by Trump admin in order to escape charges.

This corruption poses a real threat to the people of the city. He should have resigned a while ago, but will not. So it’s time for him to go.

I called Senator Durbin's office today and asked him to halt all Senate business until Elon Musk is OUT of Washington.

Staffer thanked me and asked for my zip code. (Yes, Senator, I'm a voter in your state.)

The GOP tax scam

Tax the poor to feed the rich

Lie loud and fast propaganda masquerading as news

Might-makes-right foreign policy

Oligarchy

Destroying nature and environment for a one-time gain resource policy

One of my party facts is that according to polls, Americans believe foreign aid is about 25% of the federal budget and on average that it *should* be about 10%.

The actual number is less than 1%.

Foreign aid has long been a boogey man of the right, so it's not surprising they're vilifying it now.
