Today marks 40 years since the worst industrial disaster ever.
And the victims and survivors of the Bhopal gas tragedy have never had justice. The Union Carbide factory area is contaminated to this day.

Journalist Linda Tirado was shot in the eye with a "nonlethal" bullet during the George Floyd protests in 2020. She lost the eye and suffered TBI and is now dying of her injuries. Hospice care is expensive. Please contribute if you can:

If Trump becomes president again and acts on his plans to jail journalists who say anything negative about him—which includes factual reporting that makes him look bad—we can take solace in knowing that newspaper headlines will describe it with something like “President Pushes Back Against Critics.”

It's frankly nuts that health insurance plans in this country can restrict which pharmacies you get your medications from, especially when so many meds have been subject to shortages.
They don't take Kaiser and Kaiser doesn't have any appointments! I'll try to get it reimbursed but I'm not optimistic

Another New York Times story that says "Congress" when it means Republicans. That's an accuracy problem. Ultimately, a question of standards.

This one has a reference to gridlock, as the genre requires, and even a "Washington is so broken."
