It is absolutely galling that hundreds of thousands of ordinary Australians who marched against Israel’s vast killing and maiming of innocents and kids are being told they’re to blame for the Bondi atrocity. Vile.
Just try to contemplate that those who marched in protest of such murders occurring (in much greater numbers) are now being blamed by the Liberal Party for the Bondi Massacre.

AI generated video is an unmitigated, utter fucking nightmare disaster for society in every way. On one hand my only hope is it’s so uneconomical it won’t continue for long but in the medium to long term the cat is fully out of the bag
This person is one hundred percent correct and it’s scary af. We will never “media literacy” our way out of this as a society. We are about to reap the whirlwind when it comes to misinformation, disinformation, and informational warfare.

For some reason people think just because an LLM can talk a big game it can actually act on it. Planning and carrying out complex and lengthy sequences of goal-directed actions is vastly beyond the capability of LLMs today

If the US buys cheap raw materials from poor country A (who buys almost nothing from the US), manufactures stuff with them, then sells the items at a massive profit to country B, that is good for the US right?
So why would you put a huge tariff on country A (because deficit!) and damage profits?

This means Agentforce won’t actually work properly beyond very simple use cases. And when everyone realises this it will precipitate a major AI reality check in spite of ongoing industry hype efforts. This will happen in 2025.

Gonna put it out there. I don’t think LLMs are actually capable of being meaningfully agentic. They can’t sustain a long enough thread of logical intent, and they can’t problem solve laterally enough. It won’t be fixable through scaling because they lack an inherent world model.
