It’s out and I’m so proud of this! Cleide Lanzetta & I translated #everyversionofyou by @gracechanwrites.bsky.social into Italian for Edizioni SuiGeneris. This novel is a captivating dystopian SCI-FI that will draw you into a moral conundrum, but will also make you imagine & dream new possibilities!
So pleased to be giving a talk at the wonderful CASLC group at York the 12/12/2025!
I will share some of the first #emca analysis and reflections from the #MovingSocialWork project. Thanks for extending the invitation!

This was great: the idea of not preparing a presentation but being asked some informal conversational questions just to get you talking on what you do, with a small number of lovely people just nodding & smiling, all sitting on sofas & comfy chars is such a fun refreshing format! I loved it! 🥂
In Spring, I became a member of the Senior Common Room at St Chad's College at Durham University.

Next week, on the11/04, I'll have the honour of being interviewed by Colin Crowder as part of the "SCR Conversations".

There is still time to register for our event! ;)
📣✨We know that times are increasingly difficult in HE, and ECRs often shoulder much of the burden.
We are also in the process of rethinking and reinvigorating the network.

So… we want to put on another in person event, the first for a few years, before strategising our next moves.

Today's word for UK HE is "dégringolade".

There will be limited space so it will be first come first serve. And we need a minimum of 20 people in attendance to make it feasible. To register: forms.office.com/e/krwkkNFhR7
We hope this event’ll provide space for us to consider how we can support each other in these times as a community!🥳

What an immense privilege (& responsibility) it is to record people’s words, listen to them and give them, hopefully, a voice in research!
I feel so lucky: doing Moving Social Work research is an incredible honor, meeting the people I meet is enriching beyond any job title one could give to this.

I just passed through Charing X on my way up North and my heart truly broke. I want to send everyone here who might feel unsafe, sad, angry, lonely, etc. a big hug & say that there are places/people that prove that community exist in the face of any flag waving otherwise in our faces! Solidarity!🫂❤️
