“Congress” didn’t pass this murder budget.

Republicans did it.

Republicans did it without a single Democratic vote in the House, without a single Democratic vote in the Senate.

Be precise and give, uh, credit where credit is due

These are deeply, profoundly, tragically abnormal times riven by cruel, hateful, reckless and ignorant people bent on dismantling our government, strengthening Putin, stoking fear, breaking our spirit, enriching themselves and ruling over the ashes of public liberty. We won’t let them succeed.

This. Statistically speaking, more than 90% of the time the candidate that spends the most money wins. Why is that? Because of how citizens make their voting choices. Money = name recognition. Money =paid disinformation. Money = the ability to shape the message people hear about their options.

The Buffalo News endorsed him with faint praise while conceding that she would make a wonderful congresswoman.

He won both races. Resigned in disgrace within a year. How'd such a flawed candidate win?

Money. ...

One of the unacknowledged advantages of this awful era is that it's revealing for all to see the putrid connections between great wealth and great power.

The intentions of the oligarchs are fully exposed and more blatant than ever.

But remember: We outnumber the oligarchs.

Let's be clear.

All these tech billionaires like Bezos and Musk and Zuckerberg didn't become right wingers because of some ideological awakening -- or because of "wokeness."

It's because they're BILLIONAIRES and they want to avoid taxes.

That's it. It's the MONEY.

Donald Trump signed a bunch of executive orders rolling back abortion protections in the middle of the night, hoping that no one would notice.

This is — and always has been — about controlling women’s bodies. I’m fighting back.

The DEI caused the plane crash narrative is a distraction. The tariffs are a distraction. Whatever insane nonsense Trump spews that the media will chase like cats chasing a laser light is a distraction. The only story that counts right now is the wholesale hijacking of control of the US government.

Would be a real shame if folks flooded that inbox, rendering it useless.

We obtained audio recordings and logs from each hearing of a sexual assault case that has spanned 10 years.

Nearly every time the defense attorney asked to delay the trial, a judge agreed.

Not going to pretend to be surprised about this because I wrote a book about January 6. But yes—if you were wondering—the most malevolent criminal in US political history is about to be POTUS in 6 days. It's an unimaginable situation, essentially a living nightmare, and very few fully comprehend it.

This is highly disconcerting. WaPo editors killed an editorial cartoon that mocked Bezos and other tech oligarchs. Will the Post respond to this? Democracy dies with accommodation.

I explained to a good friend that Musk and Trump want to steal from Social Security and Medicare funds to pay for tax cuts for billionaires—that they don’t care about the human toll if it makes them richer. My friend, a good & decent person, couldn’t understand that sociopathic mind.
