Monthly round up! We covered five books on Bar Cart Bookshelf this September: time travel shenanigans, parallel worlds, gods, monsters, & mortals, the raddest & radish of wives, clever foxes, deadly assassins, & stalwart couriers. Have you seen all this month's episodes? Have you tried the drinks?

Yeah but you don't want ME to start a SFF magazine

All my picks would be strictly vibes-based crunchy prose and critics would be like "There's no plot" for every story in every issue and I'd be like "SO WHAT? SO?? SO WHAT, MR. CRITIC MAN???"

😭
Reminder: anyone can found and edit a SFF magazine.

There’s no regulatory body or hoops. You create the position for yourself.

Many of these people are amazing—

But mag Editors are just guys who decided to spend a lot of time on something they love.

Just people.

Super honored for my work to be included (twice!) among this list of great books. One of the inclusions is a five-person collab under the pseudonym @darklylem.com that I'm so so proud of.

Thank you @mariahaskins.com for shining a light on and showing love to these two multiversal series!
