They weren't terrorists. They weren't cartel members. They had no fentanyl. And they weren't coming here.

They were transporting cocaine. To Trinidad.

Most importantly, they were human beings.

And they were murdered.

By the government of the United States of America.

40 men Trump sent to CECOT tell the NYT they were beaten, tortured, and sexually assaulted. The details are worse than you can imagine.

We can’t let them get away with this. Miller and the other architects of this sadism need to go to prison.

`genzplyr` is an alternative syntax for `dplyr` that replaces boring old function names with GenZ slang. Your data wrangling is about to hit different.

Hero jury saves democracy gone a-rye
Jury nullification is good and it's a good sign for America's path out of authoritarianism that juries are recognizing their power to nullify.

The Trump administration recently said it would not pay any SNAP benefits, but then offered partial funding of the food stamp program after a judge's ruling.

After gleefully and illegally plowing over every statute and regulation they don't like—such as by destroying USAID, refusing to enforce CFPB regs, and withholding SNAP funding—the Trump admin has decided 88 FR 8255 is ironclad law that must be ruthlessly enforced to ensure more people go hungry.
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

Being an undocumented immigrant in the USA is NOT a felony crime. It is a misdemeanor offense.

I want y’all to think about that while we are routinely seeing ICE agents traumatize and terrorize these people who have not committed any sort of jail-able offense.

It is difficult enough to get sober even for people who have essentially infinite money and desperately want to. Look at celebrities like Whitney Houston, Demi Lovato, Drew Barrymore, Elton John.

Getting sober when you're having trouble feeding or housing yourself? Almost impossible.
Drug testing people for food assistance is just telling people who have addiction (which is a disease) that they should fuck off and starve to death.

I don't believe in starving people because of health conditions.

ICE agents continue to radicalize people against ICE.

This is obvious assault by an ICE officer, and it’s pure evil that ICE agents are getting away with these violations of people’s unalienable rights.

This horrific terrorism by ICE agents must end now!!! 😡😡😡
ICE violently detains mother driving daughter to school—for not having social security number memorized.

"Agent became flustered when she couldn't repeat the number... then just lunged at her," said daughter.

She had work permit, social security card & drivers license.
