I have so little traction on Bluesky that I might as well talk to myself, but I don't understand why there aren't more banner headlines comparing Trump's relentless focus on White House destruction and the ballroom with how he ignores a govt shut down. It's almost like an Onion piece writing itself.

I think we should all write to Republican reps/senators and ask them to caucus with Dems to impeach Trump or at least put up some serious guardrails. It's a long shot but it would only take a few to cross over. I've written to several people today and called my reps.

Happy to be at #handsoff protest but disappointed that there wasn't a broader coalition represented, especially for a city like Durham NC where protesters were overwhelmingly white. I've written to #Indivisible and will contact our local democratic org since they were the main event volunteers.
