The Panama Canal. Spain started it. France made it a reality. America pushed it over the finish line. America gave control to Panama, provided they would keep it neutral and open to everyone. They have. A deal is a deal.

The House Ways & Means Committee is holding a hearing tomorrow on the 2017 Trump tax cuts, many of which expire in 2025. The record on these tax cuts is crystal clear: they are skewed to the rich, costly & failed to deliver promised economic benefits, especially for workers.

The substance of a mass-deportation policy is obviously paramount, but let's not brush past the whole "we got a mandate" claim:

Trump won, but his popular vote total has dropped below 50%, and that almost certainly won't change. The "mandate" is little more than a fantasy.
Tom Homan: "If I gotta send twice as many officers to LA because we're not getting any assistance, then that's what we're going to do. We got a mandate. President Trump is serious about this. I'm serious about it. This is gonna happen with or without you."
