You can tell how many of the "grow your own food" people have never grown their own food, because they:
- don't appreciate the acreage necessary to feed even one person
- skip over necessary preservation steps needed to eat in winter
- don't understand that not all soil is viable
- are wankers

Stop telling people to grow their own fucking food. I am sorry to be bitchy but just stop. People don't have the time or resources nor will it make up for how much access to food people are losing. Yeah a backyard garden or community garden is great if you CAN but it's not a fucking solution.
