President Trump appeared to struggle to stay awake at a White House event for a second time in a month on Tuesday, as his Cabinet officials provided updates on their work.

During a roughly 75-minute stretch, Trump's eyes were closed or he visibly struggled to keep them open. https://wapo.st/4ovQTFo

NEW: In a letter to Trump, Juan Orlando Hernandez cast himself as the victim of “political persecution” by Biden's DOJ & compared his fate to Trump's.

Trump announced a pardon of Hernandez hours after receiving the letter.

Hernandez was freed from prison yesterday, per the Bureau of Prisons.

Many posts are suggesting that the WH has thrown Admiral Bradley under the bus to protect Hegseth. I have a different take. I think they chose Admiral Bradley because they knew he'd crawl under the bus for them, for whatever he was promised. And Hegseth remains unprotected here, either way.

So Bradley absolutely needs to be held accountable for war crimes but it's also going to absolutely flatline the trump admin's good will with the crazy branch of the military by throwing someone willing to go along with their shit under the bus.

So Admiral Bradley is to be the fall guy for Pete Hegseth for war crimes. He gave the order after receiving the verbal command to “kill them all”. How do we feel about this?

The next time Pete Hegseth orders a suboridinate to do something illegal, they'll remember that he tossed Admiral Bradley to the wolves
Trump: Pete said it didn’t happen. He said he has nothing to do with that. I wouldn’t agree with that.

Leavitt: It happened. It was ordered by Admiral Bradley. But it was justified.

Hegseth: We stand by Bradley & the decision he made entirely on his own without our knowledge.

The volume of review that this creates leads to the inevitable conclusion: if this lasts, and works the way it’s described, all courses at TX Tech will be out of the the box, off the manager approved shelf

TX Tech has a flow chat for guidance on what can be taught in the university system. Two things:
1. Very little content seems to be permitted. This is partisan control of the curriculum.
2. I would not enjoy teaching under these conditions, but I really would not want to be a Chair or Dean.

I hope folks realize that between Trump, Kushner, Hegseth, Witkoff, Noem, RFK, Jr., Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard, this country is almost entirely undefended.
Q: Have you heard this audio that Bloomberg has of Witkoff coaching the Russians on how to appeal to you?

TRUMP: That's a standard thing. He's gotta sell this to Ukraine, he's gonna sell Ukraine to Russia. That's what a dealmaker does. I haven't heard it but I heard it was standard negotiation.

The vicious cycle of monopolization:

1) Corporations argue that their growth is just part of the free market.
2) Use their monopoly power to gouge consumers.
3) Take a portion of their profits to make political donations.
4) Lobby against antitrust enforcement.
5) Repeat.
