In a functioning democracy with strong journalism, major media would say clearly and loudly that the U.S. is under assault by fascists whose views don't represent most Americans but who have nonetheless seized power. Instead, the media cover events piecemeal, failing to sound the proper alarm.

Every world leader needs to do this when they meet with him because the US is no longer the "leader of the free world". It is the enemy of independence and sovereignty and push-back is imperative.
