it is darkly funny that "trillion dollar computer oracle that will never work" is good and inevitable technology and "inexpensive hormonal treatments which completely transform the human body" is bad technology to be banished like witchcraft
i do kind of think that the awareness and commonality of hrt is sort of like a turning point people havent fully grappled with. a technological shift on par with the advent of people getting personal computers & hooking up to the internet in the 90s. theyre trying to suppress it hard bc of that

Trans rights are not the rights of a tiny minority, trans rights are everyone’s rights to self-determination, control of our bodies, and a society where opportunity and aesthetics are not restricted by sex assigned at birth

You should support and defend trans people because trans people are people

But society is uncomfortable acknowledging the physicality of the trans body, because mutability of the flesh is a threat to the hierarchy of meat. To acknowledge our bodies as a subject we can know is to transgress upon the authority of the divine sausage and the brotherhood of its sacred priests.

Happy World Porcupine Day! For those wondering what a baby porcupine is called, it’s a porcupette. For those wondering what a group of porcupines is called, it’s a prickle. And for those wondering what porcupines sound like, turn up your volume for this smol guy called Kemosabe nomming on a banana…

The question is do you want to talk about culturally different ways of being trans, or do you want to try to create as many neatly-boxed third genders as you can to prop up transphobic theoretical frameworks? To date, people have done the latter. I'm interested in the former.

I chose to be this way because I harbor more hate in my heart for your diseased, sick, blighted false gods than I fear anything you could throw out me for turning away from it in utter disgust.

IT WOULD NOT BE WRONG TO CHOOSE TO BE LIKE ME!!!!
