Good. What a waste of perfectly good tortillas.
Texas Tech AD Kirby Hocutt just announced that they will no longer "encourage or permit" tortillas to be thrown at opening kickoff of home games to avoid potential penalties hurting the team.

Hocutt joined Joey McGuire for his weekly presser and opened it with a statement about the tortillas.

since younger people are asking how shockingly stupid things were in 2003, may I present to you this circa-03 sign that I bought from a local restaurant and their (unrelated) going out of business sale a few years later

I was in college during the run up to the war in Iraq. Those of us who opposed it were called traitors to our country. We were ultimately vindicated, but only after so much damage was done. NGL, all of this talk of regime change is giving me hives.

An 18-wheeler rolled onto its side on Tuesday, spilling part of a load of eight million dimes onto a Texas highway, the authorities said.

Road lanes were closed for about 14 hours while crews used vacuums, shovels and their hands to scoop up freshly minted loose coins.

In the U.S. in 1825, *452* out of 1000 children born died before their 5th birthday.

By 1925, that number was 135 out of a 1000 children.

Today, in 2025, that number is *7*

And it is entirely due to advances in medicine, public health, and technology.

In high school, there was this little sandwich shop that everyone went to for lunch. Line out the door every day. The best broccoli cheese soup. Rich and creamy and delicious. God I miss it.
I don't want to hear about your lost loves, tell me about the restaurant food that haunts you because you'll never be able to taste it again

This is nightmare fuel for every lawyer
So, uh, it certainly looks like DOJ intended to file a letter to Judge Liman in MTA v. Duffy, but….it accidentally filed a letter containing its legal advice to the Department of Transportation instead
