Democrats always thought their opponent was Republicans. Their actual opponent the last 50 years has been deep-pocketed republicans and libertarians. If you want them out of politics you have to hit them in their pocketbooks.

I’m excited for No kings this weekend. I feel like we need a very public rebuke that our cities will not be occupied, the tariffs are illegal, ICE is a goon squad, the president is breaking the law, the wealthy have taken over our government.

The Republican Party… a party built on nothing but lies and demonizing others. The problem with lies is that they are infinite. When you think of one there is always another new one to be thought up. With enough lies you can weave stories that seem real. The only limit is ones honor or shame.

Donald Trump has waged war on farmers. I don’t understand why but it’s clear he has: 1. Destroy their labor market, 2. Turn other countries away so they purchase from other countries, 3. Stop your own federal programs for buying farm goods and exporting them overseas or selling them in schools.

If I’m not a fan of something you won’t find me there. Take the MN Vikings. I’m a huge fan of watching them on television. But you will not find me at the stadium because I’m not a fan of live NFL. Trump claims he’s not a fan of Epstein yet there are hundreds of photos of them as pals. Odd.

Our system is designed to bankrupt people. Medicaid will continue to go up for decades and boomers run out of money. This will become a gigantic burden on the middle class.

Democrats should step into the government efficiency battle and make it lean through an organized process rooted in good business practices like six sigma, kaisen, QMS. That is a fight to step into. Yes, we can be good stewards of tax dollars. Demand the legislature be at the table of those cuts.

Another way of writing ‘unitary executive’ is ‘emperor’, ‘king’, or ‘dictator’. We don’t have those in this country and anyone claiming to want the power of a unitary executive is not fulfilling the role of president. They are acting as something else.

It's so important to remember that eugenics was 100% mainstream, not "fringe" (many countries had eugenic policies); then after WW2 eugenics did *not* magically disappear... Great thread 👇🏻
If you're struggling to understand how eugenics impacts daily life right now, I recommend going back to the historical records to see how the eugenics movement took off 100 years ago. We need to be able to recognize it when we see it, so that we can push back and resist. 1/20
