Note to Megyn Kelly. Yes there is a difference between pedophiles of different ages. If an adult touches a 15 year old sexually they should go to prison. If an adult touches a 5 year old sexually they should have their hand cut off and then go to prison. Neither one of these gets to be president.

And part of that is ensuring that the doj is allowed to act independently and the information they collect remain in-house unless they plan on using the information for conviction. If they don’t have enough of a case to prosecute they owe a duty to everyone to keep their information held close.

It’s best practice to release information under the scrutiny of judges and juries to ensure everyone’s rights are upheld in the process of convicting someone. The guilty and the innocent both have rights.

We need voting, yes, but for candidates who are committed to expand rights, up to and including expanding the bill of rights, and put in place democratic and ethics reforms. We need to advocate and organize for a positive vision for the future, not more of the same.

I welcome them. I’ve been binge reading a lot of info about our current politics and the role of billionaires in underwriting the Republican Party. It would be nice to shift more into this territory.
