Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful day. Since there is no more approved teleWORK, I took 8 hours off and was able to enjoy this bluebird day.

Having a conversation today and realized something - Fed funding is often on a match basis, or it helps underpin a program that can use additional fundraising on top of that core. For instance - meals on wheels gets about a third of its funding from the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program.

The Trump Administration’s hiring freeze has led the National Parks Service to cancel job offers for seasonal employees. We are concerned this could leave our parks understaffed during the busy summer season, which sees over 100 million visitors annually.
