I cooked professionally for a decade, so I was an all-scratch guy for the longest time. I'd feel ashamed to do anything less.
But holidays were a ball of stress, constantly trying to one-up myself, & they started to feel like drudgery rather than celebration.

I saw a video circulating showing an amish lady making an easy cream of mushroom soup from scratch. And that's cool. I love cooking from scratch. But time is money.
I fear this soup stupidity will feed into the current mommy wars and the increased labor on women.
