Energy giants have pocketed over £125 billion in profits on their UK operations since the energy crisis started, according to an analysis of company reports by the End Fuel Poverty Coalition

Yet there are continued calls from energy industry lobbyists to axe the Windfall Tax in the upcoming Budget.

Imagine looking at record profits, record executive pay, and record inequality, and concluding: yup… the minimum wage is the problem.

Internal Tory polling reveals the party is headed for just 14 seats if the election was held tomorrow. Pushing Brexit through. Electing Johnson. Then Truss. Inventing an immigration crisis. Tories have created the petri dish for the Faragist virus to grow & kill off their party.

Every nurse should be forced to do a shift in the (respiratory) pulmonology ward, willing to bet jab uptake and scepticism would change..

In a way, I find the authoritarian takeover of our media system even more disturbing than the authoritarian takeover of our political system.

Our political system has been failing basically my entire adult life. But, the media system provided accountability and sort of worked. Now it’s collapsing.

25% of bee species native to the UK are endangered yet are not protected like other endangered species are. Since bees are vital for pollinating the plants that give us our oxygen and food, they should be a protected species & harming them on purpose should be a criminal offence.

If politics IS in its 'vibes era' (hello fellow kids etc) then I'd frankly much rather have good vibes than fascist vibes. Seeing too many 'but Green strategies won't work' quotes - well, the current Labour strategies aren't working and Reform have nothing concrete, so again, I know what I'd prefer.
Greens - Lower bills through nationalising our public services, wealth tax on assets and huge increase in investment in our public services.

Labour - ID Cards, random statements about flags and Austerity 2.0.

But apparently the Green Party are the "vibes era?"

Make it make sense!
Politics is in a vibes era. Nigel Farage and Zack Polanski are proof of that. But maybe Keir Starmer can take positivity from Ruben Amorim.

To be clear, the UK's welfare system is far from generous. What's happened is that Britain's ultra wealthy have used their media outlets to fool the public into believing they deserve nothing under any circumstances.

I heard someone say the other day that the reason white reactionaries get upset when they hear other languages is that they've only barely got a grasp on English, and I think about that a lot.

We have an independent judiciary in this country. Robert Jenrick wants puppet judges.

Get the feeling seeing her comments about the Tory party, she or her husband with be donating to Farage..
Place your bets now. But given their fondness for corruption, I'm suspecting that in the next year or so, Mone winds up being welcomed to Reform.

Farage would likely embrace her as a victim of a miscarriage of justice, as he did Lucy Connolly.

Reform’s biggest donors, including

‘If payments that GB News made to Reform MPs for TV gigs were classed as political donations rather than individual earnings, it would have been Reform’s 2nd-largest external donor since the start of 2023, at around £490k.’
