I am uncertain how many days I have avoided seeing open, blatant, hatred for trans women on social media, since 2016.
A handful, at most.
On average, I come across one-to-several examples of open hatred and calls for my people to be exterminated, every single day I do not sequester offline.

It's extremely hard to convey to the average cis person just how bad the harassment of trans people on social media has gotten and how aggressively we're targeted, because if you've not been on the receiving end of it for years, you can't really grasp how relentless it is, and how isolating it is.
Since about 2018 it became hard to say anything about being trans on that platform without constant demands by clearly anti trans groups to debate them over our own experiences or prove ourselves. This was after maybe 2 decades of us using the internet to share our experiences with normal cis people

One thing I really appreciate about #bluesky is that it gives me an incentive to put more effort into the general browsing experience; searching for people to follow, feeds to subscribe to etc. As with the below - can't imagine using a block list without carefully examining accounts included inside
FYI I’m sure it was an accident but this block list included a bunch of non-right wing friends so be careful if you use these
