I'm just gonna keep saying it until it's a more widely accepted fact: all the best urbanists are women of color.
Rinck is now shouting out other cities that have eliminated parking mandates, including Spokane, Bellingham, Port Townsend, Bothell and soon-to-be Shoreline. Notes that parking mandates haven't delivered on their promise to help cities manage their curb space.

The right call with LWB is so blatantly obvious and yet Bruce Harrell killed even the pathetic compromise plan.

Vote his ass out.

Fellow Seattleites: I beg you. Please do not reelect this absolute tool, this non-entity, this empty suit. Please elect someone who will put Seattle's purported progressive values into action. (Her name is Katie Wilson.)

At a press conference at City Hall this morning, the Working Families Party and PROTEC17—the largest union of City of Seattle workers—endorsed Katie Wilson for mayor. The city union's endorsement is especially monumental because for most of these workers, incumbent Bruce Harrell is their boss.

The Supreme Court’s “shadow docket” has cast very different shadows depending on which party holds the White House.

When lower courts blocked Trump admin policies, SCOTUS intervened on an emergency basis to lift those orders in 77% of cases.

For the Biden administration, that number was 0%.

We have a chance to amplify the perspectives of Seattleites who - unlike some members of Seattle City Council - know a new King County mental health crisis center in Capitol Hill would be a great addition to a great neighborhood. Let's drink, laugh, and talk about it on July 7 @ 7PM at Vermillion.

"we shouldn't have to report child abuse and we're willing to sue to prevent us from having to do it" should be an immediate flag that these same people are either engaging in or covering up rampant child abuse happening within the church
Washington’s leading Catholic bishops filed a lawsuit Thursday contending the new state law requiring religious leaders to report child abuse or neglect, even when it is disclosed in confession, is unconstitutional and should be invalidated.

Store is live. Pretty bare bones right now, I only have a Wide Awakes flag and unisex t-shirt, and I just have some filler product descriptions. Later tonight I'll have time to add more. And also add some of those historical eagle designs that I've been working on.

The tariffs are not over. They're still in effect, including massive ones on the huge chunk of goods from China.

Dems should make fun of Trump as weak, but not let up for even a moment on tariffs.

This is a big vulnerability for MAGA, and we should hit it for the next 4 years no matter what.
🚨Trump says he’s raising tariffs on China to 125% and reducing tariffs on other countries to 10% for 90 days.

Seeing a lot of people treat this as a sure thing, but there's no indication beyond Lutnick's wishy-washy statement here that Trump will actually reverse course.

Lutnick is probably just talking out his ass in the hopes of calming the markets.
