We rehearsed for 3 hours last night - today & tomorrow will perform Handel's Messiah in 2 cathedrals. I would like to transport myself to tomorrow night and be sitting in my recliner having a drink, thank you very much.
But timpanies! I cannot help that feel excited about these.

Our neighbour gave us 6 scallops, big fat juicy ones.
I presume we're going to have to have them for breakfast tomorrow but how will I do them?

I feel like somebody should’ve said hey, why don’t you have some singing lessons or why don’t you try this?

I think all we adults have been miserable and anxious for days now and she's showing us how to do pain and injury as if she's a soldier. A soldier in Bluey pyjamas.

They didn’t “have sex with underage girls”.
They raped them.
Sex implies consent.

I was exhausted & achy after an emotional day, Miss 2 1/2 is having facial surgery this morning at the Royal Melbourne.
I sat up really late, watched #Reckless then #LeahPurcell #TheDroversWife #SBS. It was beautiful and moving.
Then I had doona covers & pillowcases to cope with at Midnight.
