The soft pedaling language being used to describe the men in the Epstein files is enraging.

They didn’t “have sex with underage girls”.

They raped them.

Sex implies consent.

The survivors deserve better than this. Use the correct language. Say what these men did.

I just wonder if Americans will decide that fiscal policies are more important than men’s predatory behaviour toward women and children.
I juuuusssst wonder.

I’ve got the champagne ready and I’m more than willing to turn up anywhere the minute that guy gets arrested for the crimes he has committed.
I will pull out every stop and hold a party in my own house.

This might have been a good place for my Joey to be…
She gets around with her hackles up and always swears at other dogs before she ignores them. She can look terrifying. I trust her. But I have been snapped and growled at. #rescuedogs
(hilarious article BTW)

Not looking forward to seeing what hasn’t survived possible frost out there…
My bean plants didn’t make it the night before last. Pumpkin very offended. Tomatoes holding their own. Coriander a bit scared to poke its head up.

This song rocked my 2012 summer and then I got to see him perform it in a rain storm. A brilliant way to herald the beginning of autumn. It was 2013.

I was exhausted & achy after an emotional day, Miss 2 1/2 is having facial surgery this morning at the Royal Melbourne.
I sat up really late, watched #Reckless then #LeahPurcell #TheDroversWife #SBS. It was beautiful and moving.
Then I had doona covers & pillowcases to cope with at Midnight.

It's taken a couple of hours to find all the things, get lost in Coles, get presents wrapped, addressed. Now the queue in the once empty PO is a mile long, & I'm about to spew or faint from hunger.
This is why I never go out.

Asked: now would you like to keep the present photo or would you be getting a new one?
Excuse me, have you seen me lately?

I had my phone on 'do not disturb' because I forget to take it off.
This would be have to be the day when my darling grandchild splits her face on rocks and has to have emergency plastic surgery.

Hey wouldn't it be funny if my car with the sick battery doesn't start while I'm parked outside service NSW? I think I'm going straight to get the battery sorted after I've renewed my driver's licence. 🙄

I forgot to RSVP for a community event that is kind of personal, I have to ring the organisation and they're not going to let me in, are they?

About the time children are starting to make their way home from school, actually it isn't even that time, is it my dog hearing school buses or something? She starts stalking me about now...
Rounding me up, ready for our 4 o'clock walk. 🥺

I’m really struggling with today’s Wordle. Bugging me but I’m gonna leave it for a few hours and come back to it.

It’s cold again, lovely, in spite of wind.
No, I’m not going to complain about any weather, unless it’s directly killing us.

I made a poulet en cocotte, of sorts. Healthful and wholesome but for the Marsala. Incredibly delicious.
I want to eat it all over again.
