Before knowing all the facts, voices on the right are now exploiting the tragic death of Charlie Kirk & calling for all-out war on the left. This is sad, but not surprising, at a time when we should all be denouncing political violence. They were not so upset when Minn. Democrats were assassinated.

This wasn’t just a security breach, documents obtained by NPR from a hotel guest who found them on a printer revealed something even more disturbing: a planned luncheon in honor of Vladimir Putin. The menu literally read, “In honor of his excellency Vladimir Putin.”

The FBI going after politicians isn’t democracy, it’s authoritarianism. The entirety of the U.S. should be outraged and yet most people don’t seem to care.

Never before in U.S. history has one man exercised such unbridled discretion affecting the lives of so many, while simultaneously preventing others — Congress, the courts, the American people — from having a say or even knowing what he’s going to do next.

This is dictatorship.

Under Reagan's tax cuts, the average tax cut for the top 1% was 68x larger than the average cut for middle-class households.

Under Bush's tax cuts, it was 16x larger.

And under Trump, 36x larger.

The GOP has always governed for the privileged few.

The framing of Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill by Republicans is a scam. Look closer!

The no-tax-on-tips and overtime is temporary, but the tax cuts for billionaires are permanent. Also, you’ll have to itemize your taxes instead of taking the standard deduction.

They’re hoping you don’t realize that.

Pay attention to this! Trump’s pushing Texas to redraw congressional maps ahead of 2026 midterms.

Why? Because Republicans can’t win unless they rig the game. They know their policies are unpopular.

Texas’ history of voter suppression and partisan redistricting is how Republicans hold power…

Attacking Iran fits with Trump’s desire to divert attention from his failures at home: his losses in the courts, his unpopular budget bill, millions of people protesting against his authoritarianism.

When he feels humiliated, he gets reckless.
