Eugenics was repackaged as cultural deficit/difference by social scientists with hegemonic whiteness always the direction racialized communities were expected to move. Mainstream Social science research is, therefore, often ill equipped to counter eugenics because, in many ways reifies it.

The AARP sent me an invite today. Apparently, I've reached the age where I now qualify for membership. To draw a decent OH STRS pension, I'll have to work until I'm 70. Men in my family don't live too far beyond that age; I don't think I'll retire long enough to get the full benefits of membership.
