And it's not based on distance. It's based on known traffic patterns for a given time of day (or night) for said freeway. I grew up 30 miles from LA. But, taking _the_ 10 W or _the_60 W, I knew on a good day, it would take at least--at least--65 minutes.

Well, doesn't the definite article apply in cases where the object being referred to is a definite geographical feature? The freeway system in So. Cal is a definite geographical feature; knowing which freeways are involved in a trip let us estimate how long it will take to get our destination.

Today, on the 75 north here in Ohio, I saw a Tesla Model 3 using a Ford Mustang pony badge. It confused me at first; then I realized what I was seeing; and then I realized how bad Musk's public image must be that folks are attempting to "hide" their Teslas.

If I'm lucky, I fly in early, attend maybe one, two other panels, make my presentation, and then head back to the airport to fly home. The only exception to this routine was Watson 2024.
