So proud of our organizing efforts in Seattle. 30,000 people showed up to the Seattle Center yesterday and it was overwhelmingly peaceful. I even had to release volunteers early because there was so little trash to clean up. (Thank you attendees for being mindful!)

I’m not going to lose healthcare.
I’m not going to lose SNAP.
I’m not going to lose HUD.
But I’m heartbroken that people who need a little hand will lose help.
I’d much rather my tax $ go to lend a hand.

Tonight, my 3 year old noticed my 2 week old was crying, correctly identified it as a hunger cry, went into the kitchen, pulled his stool up to the fridge & got a bottle out.
Then he brought it outside and started feeding the baby. All before Dad had a chance to go do the same.
