The United States government is sending people from our country to a concentration camp in El Salvador without due process or hope for release. It’s really important for everyday people to realize that if you truly believe in “never again,” never again is right now.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Is it just me? I feel like the NJ gubernatorial primary has some real potential.

With the loss of the D party line and a legit field of candidates, do we get a real race?

With viable choices on June 10th so actual primary *voters* get to put the best candidate on the ballot in November?

We cannot win if voters get their news about Democrats from Republicans.

Our party needs to show up everywhere if we want to beat the GOP’s edge and reshape the information environment.

That means deploying great communicators to deliver effective messages – everywhere.

If policy positions are so important to voters, why do Republicans' very unpopular positions not hurt them with voters? This is a question that is never asked or answered by "popularist" Democrats.

The correct answer is that policy platforms are less important than media platforms.

Hi everyone.

The Onion, with the help of the Sandy Hook families, has purchased InfoWars.

We are planning on making it a very funny, very stupid website.

We have retained the services of some Onion and Clickhole Hall of Famers to pull this off.

I can't wait to show you what we have cooked up.
The Onion Buys Alex Jones’s Infowars Out of Bankruptcy
The satirical news site planned to turn Infowars into a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” who peddle conspiracy theories and health supplements.

So I came to bluesky a few weeks ago - I never got into Twitter but I was curious. Somehow I ended up following @scalzi.com. Because of this skrelationship, I checked my library for _Starter Villain_. Between phone-related brain changes and never fully adapting to progressive lenses... 1/2

Why is having more than someone else more important than having *enough*?

I have more than you but neither of us has enough. Yay!

We both have *enough* but you have a little more than me. Boo!
1. How and why did the racist riots happen, and what do they tell us about where we might be heading? This thread concerns one part of the answer, the formation of what the historian Arno Meyer called a “crisis stratum” of disillusioned young men. 🧵
