Apparently Oswalt has been banned for this. Not debating the virtues of this policy right now - just noting that Bluesky admins seem to be establishing a hard policy of banning people for death threats, whether folks think of those posts as jokes or not.

Today’s new IEA WEO “Current Policies Scenario” (CPS) shows global oil demand 13% higher in 2050 than in 2024. The IEA had previously heralded an imminent peaking of oil by 2030, and in today’s STEPS scenario they still say “oil peaks around 2030” - so why is the CPS so very different?

There is no reason to have fossil gas in your home. Electricity can do everything gas can do but cheaper, cleaner & more efficiently. All gas does is burden us with high costs & bad health for the rest of our lives
