I remember so many kids said they wanted to be marine biologists. For the ones that are, it must be heartbreaking to get there just in time to document previously unimaginable declines and catastrophes, and watch politicians & media dismiss their knowledge.
I think we can pretty much say goodbye to the Great Barrier Reef.
Sadly, I think that's a safe prediction. You can thank successive duopoly governments for their happy collaboration with the coal/oil/gas industries.
