Also, I don't know if anyone else ever played the game No One Lives Forever, but there should just be a live-action version of that.

Ongoing bit where Q branch keeps trying to give Bond a DBX and he just puts a brick on the throttle and launches it off things as a distraction.

Somehow, P̶a̶l̶p̶a̶t̶i̶n̶e̶ Bond returned.

I will take my million dollar writing credit now please.

Daniel Craig was 51 when No Time To Die filmed. This, the new Bond must be at least in his mid-50s otherwise the series where an undercover agent does parkour and drives Astons will be too unrealistic for audiences.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

This is nothing. A local elementary school had a plastic slide that was aimed wrong. As any parent knows, a kindergartner in a wet Muddy Buddy is basically teflon-coated, and kids were getting fired into the parking lot like Maggie Simpson star-shaped shurikens.
I love that the Boston cop slide never got fixed and now people just willingly go down it in tribute. It’s basically a national landmark at this point

I follow a bunch of old school, retired Japanese autojournos. Never fails to be delightful.

Something fun I learned recently is that the front end on this car is the work of Detroit-based hot-riders, not SoCal. Same guys did the Dodge Deora.
If you see this, post an album cover with a motor vehicle on it.

(Obviously I had to)

I remember seeing May in a Zoom interview (or similar) and behind him was a framed single cel of Tombo from Kiki's Delivery Service, and I was like Well Of Course There Is.
just getting around to watching this and it would appear that James May's lock screen is a picture of a kitty cat 😻

Right. You've now all had a chance to air your Opinions about the new Prelude. Time to get back to more productive fare, like posting French cars.

Figaros and Paos everywhere, but you hardly ever see these. They are such an important little car in Nissan design history.
good morning and happy Kyusha Wednesday: I haven’t come across too many Be-1s with three pedals in my journey and this one might be the cleanest one left on earth

Adjusted for inflation, the WRX is actually cheaper than the original was in 2002. The problem is that the car was a bargain in its previous generation. The other issue is that Subaru sold 84 Crosstreks in the time it took you to read these three sentences.

As if practically everybody going to the JMS wasn't giving me enough FOMO, a friend from the local Citroen club is also there hanging out with the Japanese French car club and driving vintage 2CVs around Tokyo at night.

A few months ago, I called up this fellow on a tip that he knew a little bit about Olds Aerotech history. "Oh," he said, "Yes, I own those."

This reminds me of an old joke. Irishman coming home from the pub, pockets full of bottles. Falls over the curb, hits the pavement, sits up and pats a damp patch on his coat.

"Ah, thanks be. 'Tis only blood."
A French cyclist survived for three days after a horrendous 130-foot fall into a ravine, kept alive by the bottles of red wine he had in his shopping bag, police said.

A helicopter airlifted him to hospital, with a rescue doctor calling his survival "a miracle."
