“Sickening and heartbreaking”

Good grief, can we desist with this nonsense. Barring convicted criminals from holding office - especially criminals convicted of abuses of power - is just basic civic sense. The option of not stealing taxpayers' money was right there. www.economist.com/leaders/2025...

These are some cool ladies.

Although I generally prefer to be rescued by a dashing fireman who looks like (or is) Henry Cavill, I'd make an exception for these dashing dames.

Christ these people are out of control. America has completely lost its mind. And absolutely smashed its reputation into the dirt. What repulsively ignorant, arrogant fools.

All the taxes Labour have raised are targeted at wealthy people. And we have had endless screaming from the media about every single one of those taxes - DAILY articles on how IHT for farmers will end the "family farm", how VAT on private school fees really affect "ordinary" people...

I had an excellent call with President von der Leyen about the road ahead for Canada-E.U. trade.

Canada and Europe are strong, reliable partners. In a shifting global economy, that matters more than ever. We’re ready to secure new transatlantic business opportunities together.

This is really good progress on public electric vehicle charging points.

The government announcem £40m for 16,000 new charging points in the Midlands.

To put in to perspective, we have 74k with 10k in the midlands and 20k were added last year. So this plan is a significant increase in the region.

Why is Richard Tice so keen to rubbish @adrianramsay.bsky.social's proposal to tax extreme wealth?

Let's just say he has an estimated net worth of £40m. And has made extensive use of an offshore trust in Jersey, a notorious centre of tax avoidance.

What a public-spirited patriot!
