Neil Basu explained it very well. The Police are there to keep the peace. And that's what they did - it was a wise and pragmatic decision IMO. The riot that may have happened should the atrocity have been caused by a brown person is the Government's problem. And they dealt with it well last time

I believe he just read and read,he read everything- folk tales, history-Greek legends-Roman law, everything.And he could write so well, and introduce such humour into his work, including what people are like. I swear I know someone like everyone who he wrote about! (Minus the magical powers, obvs)

Do they maybe use it to relate views that are just click bait? I don't use it because it was abusive, vile and depressing. But I'm certain all journalists,news organisations, political parties and political analysts use it. Because they have to....

I disagree. He is monumentally greedy, and pretty switched on about milking the position of power which the MAGA voters gave him. He doesn't care about anything or anyone else it seems to me.....

It wasn't in the manifesto. And we still have our 20 odd percent of Loud Brexit/ Trump style cultists and our foreign owned MSM. Never mind social media. And the last thing we need now is another divisive policy. He's keeping all options open, working with EU. He's doing OK in a difficult time IMO

At least we were able to get rid of our 2 recent appalling PM's without a public vote in UK - their own colleagues had reached the end of their tether and did it themselves. I'm presuming it can't work that way in US, can it?
