With this in mind... it makes me desperate to leave the US with my family, but also being conscious of what places are best for a black, queer person like myself. Constantly feeling helpless with where things are going and not seeing any physical pushback...

It's definitely gonna be over moderated or mess up the algorithm to lean heavily Right wing. Both Tiktok and Lemon8 as well as capcut are gone ahead of the ban. I hardly ever get on any other app. Guess I'll just stick to bluesky from now on.
After launching the effort to ban TikTok in 2020, Trump will now take credit for eventually saving it, and TikTok is going along with it
